Today was the 9th day of Star Cup 4 organised by Star Cricket Youth Club.

First match of the day was between Soulfeel and Spartans. Soulfeel won the toss and elected to bat. Soulfeel scored a total of 103 runs in 20 overs at a loss of 7 wickets. Rohit Rathore from Soulfeel scored 36 runs out of 33 balls with the help of 4 fours. Vivek Yadav from Spartans had a very good bowling streak as he gave 14 runs in 4 overs and took 2 wickets.

While chasing, Spartans were able achieve the target of 104 runs in only 10.3 overs at a loss of just 3 wickets. Vivek Yadav scored 40 runs out of 22 balls (8 fours). Naman Garg of Soulfeel took 2 wickets in 3 overs and gave 29 runs. Spartans won the match by 7 wickets. Vivek Yadav was declared the Man of the Match for taking crucial wickets.

Second Match of the day was between NM – XI and GR Associates. NM – XI won the toss for the fourth consecutive time in the league and elected to bat. They scored a total of 61 runs and were all out in 16.2 overs. Prateek Verma scored the highest runs in the team which is 20 runs in 21 balls with the help of 3 fours. Pankaj Kataria of GR Associates took 4 important wickets in 4 overs and gave 11 runs. While chasing, GR Associates won the match in 5.5 overs and at a loss of 2 wickets only. Rakesh Kumar scored 19 runs in 16 balls (3 fours). NM – XI did not have a good bowling day. GR Associates won the match by 8 wickets and Pankaj Kataria was awarded the Man of the Match.
